The Risk Event Dashboard (the RED system) is a comprehensive software program capable of predictive modeling and analysis of organizational risks based on past events. These events include crime, workers compensation, public liability, and help line reports. RED enables you to centralize information from many departments such as audit, human resources, loss prevention, risk management, and security. The automated features of this program may significantly reduce requirements for paperwork and personnel. Detailed record keeping will allow efficient case management, prevention awareness training, and security systems design.
RED runs on the Microsoft SQL Server database platform.

RED's easy menu-driven system allows you to create, edit, delete, and print individual event reports. Extensive narrative space, special detail files, and picture and video clip display facilitate total reporting. RED's investigative support feature searches throughout the database for common identifiers such as names, social security numbers, telephone numbers, or other key words, for all reporters, suspects, subjects, victims, and witnesses. RED’s unique send/receive capability allows for remote data entry and update of a master database through most all types of e-mail systems.
The Dashboard
In addition to its database and data analysis features, RED provides a dynamic graphical display of your risk status and history. This optional display uses familiar images to provide a complete up-to-date view of your status. The dashboard is automatically updated based on a user-set timer and may be customized to show the desired data. The output includes both current status as well as a historical chart of data for the last 30 days.
RED enables you to quantify the contribution of your security, risk, or loss prevention function. The main menu generates detailed summary reports, maps, and statistical graphics. In addition to supporting budget requests, you can track the movements of a serial suspect along major U.S. interstate highways. RED is designed, tested, and copyrighted, by the crime prevention practitioner who wrote the books Not a Moment to Lose - Influencing Global Security One Community at a Time, Loss Prevention Through Crime Analysis, and The Manager's Violence Survival Guide. RED will speak directly to your experience and your needs as they continue to evolve.
Customization
Your purchase of RED can include full customization to give it the "look and feel" of your organization. This includes everything from graphics, logos and field labels to custom reports. We will work with your team to produce a tool you can use. In addition, we maintain the source for your installation and provide future updates at our standard programming rates.
Requirements
RED is supported on Microsoft Windows XP® and above. RED requires Microsoft SQL Server® (version 2000 and above) - either an existing SQL Server installation or an instance of one of the free Microsoft SQL Server Express Editions. Some functions also require an internet connection and third party software.
