All events are logged using the incident report form. To create a new event, select New Incident from the toolbar. Since all events must be linked to a location, RED displays a prompt for you to enter the location ID:
The tabbed incident report form provides for the entry of all the details for any type of event with required items in bold type. The main tab for this form is shown below:
The Narrative tab allows free form entry of text related to the event. The Subjects tab provides searchable details for up to four people associated with the event as shown below:
The Investigation tab requires you to record details relating to the internal and external investigation of the event:
RED links a variety of external files to the incident report, such as pictures, video, audio, web pages, pdf files, and text documents. The Media page allows you to select these files:
The Medical, Vehicle and Recovery pages provide space for additional details related to the event.
